A Prodigal Son's Journey
We have more good news to share with you about Lance. Last week we met with him to begin discipleship. Here’s what he had to say:
I’m doing great! I’ve been reading the Bible. It makes more and more sense. The more I read, the more I know Jesus is the Savior. I feel this warmth inside me. I also know Jesus is my Savior and Lord….I’ve deleted a lot of bad music from my computer, and I’ve given away t-shirts with bad words on them. I know it wasn’t me. I felt the power of Christ compel me to do it….A lot of people have noticed a change in me. One guy at my halfway house asked, “What’s changed you?” I said, “It’s simple—God!” My parents have noticed a change in me, too. I shared my new faith with them, and they were happy for me….I know my purpose now is to live for God everyday. And, I want to thank you and Joshua for being there for me. I see y’all as my spiritual advisors. I wouldn’t be where I am if I hadn’t met you. I want to thank you. I really appreciate it.
Wow! Please keep Lance in your prayers as he continues to pursue God and battle drug addiction.
